Training in Active Tourism: tools to create sustainable and competitive experiences
With the aim of strengthening the tourism business network of the Pla de Mallorca and fostering the creation of new experiences linked to active tourism, a training programme has been developed for companies, organisations and professionals in the area’s tourism sector, within the framework of the Tourism Sustainability Plan for Destinations (PSTD), funded by the European Next Generation EU funds.
This training is part of the actions promoted to encourage a more sustainable and diversified tourism model, aligned with new market demands, that showcases the natural, cultural and scenic resources of the Pla de Mallorca.
Through this series of three training videos, participants will learn the main concepts, trends and opportunities related to active tourism, and will acquire practical tools for designing, promoting and marketing tourism experiences linked to hiking, cycle tourism, running and other activities in contact with nature.
